My drafts of my double page spread and contents page

This is my double page contents page idea, I might use this as it gives more information and it is easier to fit everything on to one image than squashing everything in.  

This is my first draft of my magazine contents page with my photographs. I have followed with the black, white and red theme as KERRANG! follow one color scheme. I followed the way KERRANG! did there contents bar and added it to my contents page and instead of adding just one image i added three.

This is my first draft with the photo I took, the magazine is a rock magazine so I got her to wear her corset and trench coat with dark eye makeup and red lipstick. This is the best photo I have gotten which fits in with the theme and following along the lines of KERRANG! magazine.

This is the second draft of my double page spread. I've kept with the black and white theme of the my first draft of my contents page. I have used Lorem Ipsum for the text as I don't know what the writing of the article will be, using Lorem Ipsum gives the effect of a real double page spread and helps me to lay out my article easier. i know generally what my article will be about (as the title suggests) the images will only be of one person but the images will be similar to the ones of paramore. I like the layout of this draft, I think this is the draft I will keep for my final piece as it it is clear and follows along the lines of KERRANG! magazine double page spreads.  Below is the same double page spread but the text and image places are swapped. 

 

This is the first draft of my double page spread. I have used this layout as I want the images to be on one page; a few images, all different poses and maybe different costume or locations. Then on the other page I was quite a big article as in KERRANG they usually have a big article; not a question and answer, just the artist(s) talking.

This is the My Chemical Romance double page spread that my double page spread is inspired by. I like the layout; the way the text is completely separate and bold from the image, like mine will be.

This is my first draft of my contents page. It is slightly inspired by Kerrang's contents page but less busy , i think my second draft of my contents page will be more busy to look more like a Kerrang contents page. I like the blocking off idea because it sections everything out.

This is another idea of another contents page that i could create which is more like Kerrang's but i need to put it the photo, i may change the 'another article' box for a picture. Although I'm not fully sure yet
